Viking Knarr release coming soon

Ladies and gentlemen,

I am in the last steps of the Knarr development and very excited about it. I couldn't have imagined that a boring old trading ship would turn out so cool.

After completing the second test build I found no further issues so I called this projects iteration cycle done. I added a sailing rig as the final embellishment and started taking promo pics for the release. I also was taking instruction pics during the build so now all that's left is making the instructions PDF and creating all the part files (right now it's all in one file) and getting everything labeled and checked. I am hoping for a release sometime end of next week.

If you are a fan of this ship I suggest you start building some cargo like barrels and crates which you can find in the Basic Bits library here! :)

I am not sure I will be able to squeeze another bit in this month but I have a couple planned that I will work on right after the release. I think I will start with the 3D torchlights for the Grenzwacht Armory (or any other building).

After that I will have to decide what the next project is going to be. I have a watchtower set planned, I want to do a church builder set or series, the walls for the outpost/castle and sometime I will squeeze in the Viking "faering" rowing boat so there is more than enough on my short term to-do list :) If have preferences or wishes let me know!

Regarding my apartment renovation I have no big news still sadly. We got the approval by the insurance now so now the ball is back in the court of the manager to activate the workers that will repair and rebuild the kitchen and wardrobe sections. It really is getting boring but I think we have a chance to get it all done within the next week or two. I cannot tell you how much I look forward to use the kitchen oven and do some backing, esp. a scratch made Pizza!
