Archery targets coming next week!

Ladies and gentlemen,

I wanted to release the targets today but I got some feedback (some really liked the arrow bits) that made me add some more options and details and I think you will love them!

I have added a little grass base, made a page with separate stand and target circle and another with a separate tripod stand parts and target circle so you can do some creative stuff with the parts.

For the target circle I can imagine using a 1-2mm thread and gluing it in a spiral to form a 3D target assembly. If you want the color bull eyes I would print them on thin copy paper (80gsm) and then glue that on.

For the stand you could print a couple of pages on heavier paper (300gsm or 1mm) and then cut out all the single bars and layer it to a full 3D model!

The arrows are flat 2D arrows but I have added a single third feather part so you can turn your arrows into a better looking 3D version. Just bend the feathers on the 2D part and glue the third one on.

And finally I was reminded of the famous "Robin Hood" splits arrows shot and made a special arrow part for that too :)

BTW look at the sides of the arrow feathers. I used a grey felt pen to continue the feather markings there. Looks so much better with that little detail.

So from easy 2D to fully customizable 3D double up detailing model ... I think I got you all covered with what I have got now :)

When I came back from my vacation I found that a lot in my extended family finally got Covid. Mostly the ones that took a flight for holiday or business. As I (obviously) flew to Greece, me and my girlfriend are waiting now to see if we also got it but so far we are fine. So keeping my fingers crossed that somehow I was able to stay lucky and avoid it!
