Anvils WIP

here's what I have been able to work on the last days. I have been trying out a couple of sizes for the anvils and I think I will settle for these two. One will go on a base (tree stump) and the other would work stand-alone. Both are large enough to not go crazy when building it, maybe a bit oversized but that will leave some room for texturing details (dwarf runes?).
Thank you to all the new patrons coming in! I haven't had a chance to message you all directly because of all that is going on right now but I am very grateful for your support!
The next days will be buys with real life. If I find the time after I would also add a simple furnace and maybe bellows, but let's see if I can get these done before the x-mas break.

Good idea! I was thinking of carving small things from Sculpey, or soft wood, but my skill set is more at sharp sticks! Always fun to experiment!

2021-12-14 17:26:13 +0000 UTCBasically your eye sight and finger agility should be the limit :P The tiny prototype from last post pic was about 1/2 inch. For quarter I would just cut out a couple of vertical shapes and glue them together (like 3D printer slicing). At that scale it should be more feasible!
