Next bit: Viking Totem!
Added 2021-01-11 09:32:52 +0000 UTCWhile I am texturing the next house and recording the next build video I have started the main bit for this month ... a totem pole in Nordic style!
Here's a first look at a prototype I have built. I think I can squeeze in a couple of options. Different heights, different tops and different texturing. This should make for a nice objective marker and attention grabber on your table.
When I look at this, I am starting to think about a Nordic ornamented ground tile too, similar to the 1K follower Thank-You one I made last year. Some stone paved section to highlight the town center or sacred place of the village but with some Celtic/Nordic knotwork patterns. If you have ideas or wishes for such a tile, let me know in the comments so I can plan it for next month!
Regarding the long house, I have textured the outside walls of the main building and am working on the roof now. So I think I can show you a nice looking prototype very soon.
