More barn roof WIP

I have textured the underside of the roof and fixed all errors I have spotted so far. This is just the simple build. I have also prepared a fully textured "extra" underside version for the DELUXE edition.

I like when I kneel down for LOS checks, that the underside of the roof doesn't flash it's white ugly rear ... or underside :-)

I also added some optional detail ornament strips for the glue seams of the roof.

Here is the roof without them. Not bad when done right but if you look close enough you will spot the seams.

I have all the edges colored with grey but still there is an easy solution to cover them up. So I isolated the edge shingles and made extra parts. This is how the roof looks when you use them.

One thing I didn't like and I have fixed now is that the "corner" edge shingles shouldn't go all the way back to the bottom edge of the roof. So the last segment is gone now. They are just where two roof sides meet.

So now it's time to move towards the interior structure. Also I think I will make one or two (small and large) hay bale bits in the next days so we have something to put inside :)

I hope you are all doing fine. Here in Austria we seem to steer towards stricter locking down again but other than that life seem OK now. Who want's to go outside anyway when one can build some paper models :P
