Barn roof and watch tower WIP

I have made a first prototype of the barn roof. I need to fiddle a bit with the detail ornaments covering up the seams on the top and also add the underside texturing but it's going in the right direction. Once I got the roof finalized I can start working on the interior structure.

I also finished a first prototype of the watchtower top structure. This is the easy full closed top cabin version. Of course there will be open versions too.

Here I printed the "interior" texture on the walls. If you want open you can just cut out the upper half or even the spaces between the frame beams.

I think the upper platform needs to be a bit wider. You almost cannot really see it. I have some ideas for variants but will wait a bit for feedback from the specialist for Feudal Japan era.

Once I got all that done I can start working on weathering!

I want to finish the barn first, so I will focus on that a bit more but it is quite interesting to work on two models at the same time :-)
