Small stables almost done, but ...

The last days I have completed the fold-flat adaptions for the optional build version. This is the assembled version ...

... and the disassembled one!

On the last pic you some some markings on the side tabs of the front wall. These are for when you want to also connect the fences. The small tab part will be bent foward for that.

For the actual fences I made a isolated connection tab. This is something I want to follow up on future designs. That way the "weak link" of the fold flat system, the tab, can be easily replaced should it tear during gaming stress.

Here you see it all connected!

On the ground tile from the top pic I also added some small hoof markings as a little detail :-)

Now to the "but"! I don't know if I have mentioned this before but for the last months I have been suffering from shoulder calcification tendonitis, which was turning really painful. I want to write about the challenges of a very sedentary work/lifestyle at some time. I am learning a lot I wish I would have known from the beginning.

Due to the covid outbreak my treatment had to wait for a while. Now for the last weeks I have been seeing someone and I have experienced big improvements from treatment already. My range of motion is much better already and the pain is getting softer and softer (still long way to go for full healing) BUT ... I have to go on holiday for a rest period. And this is planned in to start in two days. I thought I would have everything finished for release before but I have some small parts missing. So what I will do is prepare the set on my Gumroad tomorrow BUT without instructions. I am doing this in case anyone is waiting urgently to build this. Like the small farmhouse I will add updates when I return and I think this set is so simple in the structure that esp. long time builders of my designs will find no problems. I just hate to leave anyone waiting who was looking forward to this set soon.

So expect an "insider" release tomorrow and the rest will come in about two weeks :-)
