After some tweaking I settled on the texturing for the hearth model. Details like the bolt got lost on this metal background (compared to the wooden planks I have used them on so far) so I had to do a couple of test prints and get them to become readable again.
The above shot shows the fireplace without the metal top (optional). And I have added the exterior chimney in the pic to show how the hearth is compatible sizewise.

Here's the same with the metal (lintel?) on top.
Once I added weathering and some options (copper and rust version) we got these builds!

But I have also been working on the interior of the stables. Actually to make it all work with layers I had to rearrange the file almost completely - taking me almost two full days - but I am now happy with the layout.

This is a test build with an open front. I also made separator part in the middle as an option but am waiting for the floor part before I glue that in.

Once I have made the floor texture (some dirt with bits of hay?) I will try to squeeze in a stone wall option for the outside walls.
The hearth fireplace will come out as usual on the 15th next week! For the stables I think I will need another week after that to get it all done. Always takes a bit longer than I plan (esp when I start to cram more options inside :-) )
That's it for today. Until next time, stay safe and stay sane!
