Planks, planks, planks ...

While I am still detailing the final options of the stables I thought I make a wooden plank version of the farm house in a break. I will also make a horizontal plank version as alternative. I might also make a new roof option for this look so there is no overlap in the products.

Next Basic Bit? What would you want?
For next months basic bit, I haven't decided yet. My ideas are an interior fireplace set (for taverns etc) or a hay cart for the farm. What would you guys like to see next?
Upcoming buildings ...
As you might know I am working on stables and barns next and after that I have another theme/culture queued up (more details in 1-2 months) but the success of the farm house/village house makes me want to explore the village theme a bit more. Which village buildings would you like to see in the future? I would like to make a more modular but larger building like the farm house for a versatile core building. But I would also like to make special purpose buildings that have some fancy (and completely unmodular) geometry that just look great. Let me know what you think/wish for!

Fantastic. I like your idea of using structures such as columns as an optional add-on as well. Looking forward to your next creation.

2020-05-29 21:43:05 +0000 UTCSounds like a good plan for the basic bits. The next modular larger house should have more story options. I agree on that. I think I have a design that will work well. For arcades etc. with columns I have to see if the floor they are on have to include them already or if that can be an optional add-on too. I would prefer add-on but I am not sure how well/stable that would be build-able. I will share my designs when I get there.

2020-05-29 18:04:26 +0000 UTCNext Basic Bit - Fireplace Set might be good for the buildings you already have. Hay Cart could follow your Stables and Barns. As for Future Buildings, perhaps a two story structure with a terrace or balcony. The use of beams or stone columns could be used as supports. Stairs could be made with iron, stone, or wood textures. Just some ideas.
