Postprocessing the farmhouse release ...
Added 2020-05-20 14:44:22 +0000 UTCI am still in the aftermath of the farmhouse release. I have received so much feedback and am working my way through it. The stables will have to wait a bit more :-)
Above you see the start of my exploration of an extension of the main building. I am testing how large it can be without having to split parts over pages and also how to connect it best.
Then I am in the process of making the BASIC Edition of the small farmhouse. They should be released next week. They will be three limited options sets ("clay", "stone" and "mixed" skin) but with preconfigured layouts to choose from. That way people with no layered PDF support on their deviced can use these PDF's.
During the process of creating these files I also incorporated some of the feedback I got from the DELUXE edition.
I got the information that dirt on the inside would "pile up" differently to the outside. You would see more weathering going on on the top, due to dust/smoke rising (and the bottom probably being cleaned more by the inhabitants). Also some wanted a mirrored interior layout so one can more easy match the door and window positions in the DELUXE position.
Some wanted a textured top rim of the walls, so they don't remain the only white part of the model (once you add the interior).
I will add all the upgrades as more bonus content to the DELUXE edition soon.
As you can see my quarantine time has not been boring :-) And I am already itching to start the stables and the barn as soon as I can.
