First farm prototypes
Added 2020-03-25 08:27:42 +0000 UTCI know I said at the beginning of the year that I didn't want to post too many updates here but in light of the current situation I have been asked for more WIP updates. People in lockdown want to be entertained :-) So here goes ...
The stables look great on the table so far. I have many texture/skin versions of this in my head already, open/closed, single room or many departments for horse stables...
The large barn turns out great but HUGE! I can see it as a great "last stand" thing with options like turrets and defensive balconies for fantasy settings ... but I think I will add a medium sizes barn version as to not intimidate beginners :-)
I will also make a small animal shed version for smaller animals and then a larger farm house. The latter will be inspired by Wild West rancher houses with a porch.
So basically it will go towards a small and large farm set! And many smaller things and bits! I have never received so much feedback on the social media. I feel that people have more time to communicate ;-)
Anyway, for me now there's lots of work to do :) I will do a little blocking of the missing buildings, just to make sure it all fits together, do some test prototypes and then start the texturing! Very excited!!!
