Texturing the hearse wagon
Added 2019-11-25 17:31:07 +0000 UTCI have texture most of the main carriage assembly. I want to add some more option but for now you can get a good picture.
The front view shows the seat section with the new leather texture I made :-)
The curtains in the "windows" and the cross on top are all optional. I want to have other options too. The windows could be plain and empty or even cut out and had some plastic sheet window glued behind if wanted for interior view.

Next I will focus on the wheels section and make an easy and advanced version.
I am a bit slower than usual as I seem to have the paperwrights version of an tennis elbow and trying to give my arm a bit of rest when I can. But with all the ideas in my head pausing is always a challenge :-)

True, but that is because the original is :-) From what I have been looking at the only ones not looking like a box have some ornaments around the "box" making it look a bit more interesting. For this one, one could start doubling up the decoration elements on the sides and on the top but the core is still a box. Although I have not seen it on a lot of references once could also add some lanterns, to give it more detail, but that's about it. I am afraid there is not much I can do about it. If you have any ideas, please feel free to give me feed back. When I get to the Gothic design version I will add these details on the side and a more roof like top. But I want to start with the basic version before I go more advanced.
