Johnny vs. The Castlevania Sorrow Duology (AD-FREE)

With all of my pressing IRL concerns handled, I'm back. You guys waited long enough, here's my combo review of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and the first Nintendo DS entry, Dawn of Sorrow! Apologies if there's any editing hiccups I didn't catch, I hope it was worth the wait.

Johnny vs. The Castlevania Sorrow Duology (AD-FREE)

Comments

Ah, so this “1999 Event” is the Castlevania equivalent of Mega Man Legends 3. I feel your pain, Johnny! XD

The Role Playing Gamer

So, cards entirely on the table: Aria of Sorrow is the only Castlevania game I've beaten, with the only other one I've played being Bloodlines. I need to catch the fuck up. XD

Archer Slam-Bam

I played dawn of sorrow on my DS lite but because the touch screen was already on its way out, I ended up downloading a patched version of the game on my flash card that removes touch-screen functionality entirely. So the bosses just die when their HP reaches 0 which helps the pace a lot! Great video as always! I totally understand your decision of combining both games for this video. Also not sure if you know this but, if in the distant future you decide to tackle the 3D castlevania games, know that Castlevania 64 is almost entirely included in the campaigns of castlevania Legacy of Darkness, which doesn't so much serve as a sequel but more souped up version of the original castlevania 64.
