I'd recognize that artist anywhere for the new thumbnail, Krooked Glasses was a l phenomenal choice, it seriously looks great. Looking forward to what ever Experiment is cooking, been waiting for that since the Metroid video. Even moreso, I just can't wait for the Final Fantasy IX video, easily my favorite Final Fantasy.

2023-11-15 20:20:48 +0000 UTCJust FYI, both bosses of Frozen Base are literally the first two bosses from the first Fantasy Zone (robotic/Eggman skin aside), so any resemblance to Gradius III is purely coincidental :) . Otherwise, I agree with the review. Those bosses are really exhausting towards the end, especially in Trip mode.

2023-11-15 15:02:58 +0000 UTCThe game is fun to play I enjoyed my time with it aside from the bosses (cus GODAMN WHO THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA FOR US TO ONLY BE ABLE TO HIT THEM ONCE EVERY 10 SECONDS AND THE FINAL BOSS OF TRIPS STORY CAN BURN IN HELL) but this game is not worth $60 it should be $40 also Love the new intro and art in thumbnail.

Also, brief thoughts of the game: I’m thankful the game didn’t make me stomach more than one playthrough if I wanted to have my usual Sonic and Tails playthroughs in Sonic games that feature both as fully playable… because I was intending on putting the game away by the end of the first run. It was okay, but a one-and-done okay… which isn’t good praise for a game this short.

Literally couldn't believe it dragged the game so far down, otherwise it would've been good to great but just sort've became meh at that point. Also had no idea there was a last story cause I didn't play Trip's Story yet lol. I wasn't dying to go back, Mario Wonder was way more appealing and it DID knock my socks off. Can't wait for that Review!

Some stage themes, the main 4 playable with an adorable new addition, jank boss designs, intolerable co-op mechanics, crunched screen, it’s pretty uncanny. Also love the short but sweet new assets, here’s to a new season.

I even got the super special ultimate edition or whatever it's called for all the costumes n' such and I gotta say, every review I see for this game makes me feel like I've gone completely crazy lmao Like, I just cannot with this game. I'd go more into detail here but at that point, I'd rather make my own review. I lost my patience for that game real quick and I still managed to get through the whole thing with my hair intact despite it. The new intro and art are super nice. As to be expected, of course. Looking forward to the next one Johnny!

After beating every boss up until the last story boss all I could say is the game was just a big OK and then I traded it for a sealed copy of pokemon scarlet. Will one day beat that final boss with a new copy. But hey I got pokemon out of this so let's go.

A tad more serious expression than the previous ones, but it's well done. As for the game, I have too many games on my backlog so I don't see myself picking this up soon.
