2022-02-12 10:22:22 +0000 UTCAll I'll say is stop expecting answers and explanations. Not to sounds snobbish, but this show is way less surface level than yall are thinking. These people's adversaries are themselves. I recommend listening to what Laurie said to him again. In a post apocalyptic world, people will go to the craziest lengths to explain the things that they feel and the world around them. Each character is going about this in different ways. Some turning to religion, some turning to "magic, some choosing to live as though everything is fine and the same.

2022-02-12 00:29:00 +0000 UTCPattie is Kevin, so yes, Kevin is his own "most powerful adversary"...he is battling his mental illness/mental breakdown. Nora is dealing with her own mental problems, as well as dealing with Kevin, Mary, and a baby. Nora is far from stable or ok.

2022-02-11 21:24:31 +0000 UTCPattie *is* Kevin. She is his subconscious. Whenever she is there talking, it's just Kevin battling himself. If you go back and listen to their conversations there are a lot of ques that confirm that. It's all written very cleverly though.
