The Pon Wolf enters the fray! + Progress update

Heyo guys, recently got back some models back that I commisioned in preparation for making some Phase/Indie vtuber stuff, and wanted to make something with Airi, probably going to animate this little render and do some other stuff with her in the near future, I've also got a bunch of other models coming along so next year we will have a lot of variety! I gotta lewd 'em all...

Since I already spent a bunch of time working on the Irys/Kronii models, I decided I would do a little animation with them while I was working on setting up the models and figuring out the storyboard and script for the ShioRaven animation which is now ready for production, of course little 1 minute animation with them again turned into being almost 3 minutes 🤡, so with this we have succesfully used the whole CouncilRyS in a full animation. Yay! It's currently in the voice acting stage, got a new promising VA cast for IRyS which I'm excited for, the animation should be ready in 2-3 weeks so look forward to it!

Lastly some tech stuff, I've been developing a hair physics addon that can simulate the Live2D style that I want to have in my animations, it's based on the method that Spizzy uses for his works, just automated it into being a one-click instant performance friendly solution with easily adjustable settings, this will speed up workflow for me and others that decide to use it immensely, compared to the other methods I've been using until now this one gives by far the best results right out of the gate, and is very lightweight aswell as it's using bones instead of mesh deform, of course manual adjustments for animation and baking are still needed but that's not an issue at all since that's what I've been doing with less efficient methods anyway. Oh yeah, I will be releasing the addon for free for anyone who wants to use it, just have to figure everything out as there are some limitations that I've hit and want to make it real easy to use, but should be finished pretty soon.

Lastly, I've been helping some fellow animators with blender stuff a bunch recently, as I have been shown kindness when I started and so I want to repay the community and share my knowledge, but I've noticed I do keep repeating stuff to different people, and it's really because of the lack of NSFW animation tutorial content out there, there is a lot of fuck around and find out as far as lewd animation goes, and I know this could all be made easier for everyone, so to that extent I am planning on making a little animation crash course that actually talks about the animation side of things and creates something small from start to finish, explaining everything as much detail as possible showing my workflow and then referencing other learning instruments for people to follow. I've already got enough on my plate so adding this will be an undertaking but I do want to do it as I know it would help a lot of people that are starting out get the hang of things faster and create more quality content for all of us to enjoy, so that's a win-win.

There are some other exciting things planned that I cannot quite talk about yet, but all shall be revealed soon, the real grind starts now is all I can say 💪
