Yeah I will be going all out for her, for my other xray scenes I do a separate internal rig slapped on top, for Cherry I'd like it all built in. Colours will depend on what the secondary animal mix is, I'm leaning towards racoon for the cute markings. Thanks! <3

Exciting! I’m only here for straight content and I personally dislike anal. Anal is a big turn off. So when there just isn’t any content I like month after month, it makes me question weather my money might not better be spent elsewhere on things I like. Especially when the things I vote for never win, and then new votes come out and the things that sounded great from the previous vote are just thrown to the wayside. Especially because Sage is my favorite and there hasn’t been a non-anal straight sage scene since 2019. Three years is a long time to be waiting. I was really excited for a straight scene with sage and kale but then it was just anal instead… Anyway! Real excited to see what’s coming.

sage is a straight option too though dont see much of her though is sad most the patreons are gay too bad they not bi im bi curious myself i like some of the gay stuff but would be nice for some more herm charecters kinda mix both male and female into one char to appease both sides i personally think male on male is limited to just anal i think sex should be more a celebration shouldnt have limits like theres a couple good examples out there but not enough but ive been with you for years and i believe i suggested things like this even before angus i started watching back when it was just sage and cookie and cookie was both male and female not that my opinion matters to anyone else but i think charecters like cookie that can be both would be best ..... hell i think fridge could pull it off with new attachments too

I do feel you could get some camera options in straight animations that wouldn't be possible IRL. That could maybe add to the fun.

After it has been a streak of gay or straight animations I do force it with a vote of only one orientation. So if you look at my work on a yearly basis it is fairly even. So the next vote planned is a straight only vote, and when Cherry is released there will be a lot of straight options there too. So there isn't any chance of this slipping to being a gay only patreon, it just happens that right now with the characters I have, gay options are more interesting than the limited straight projects I could work on. It's only recently I've started to do these multi part animations and I think that's why people have started to complain more, since they would have to wait longer to see what they would like. So it might be that I have to cut down on the longer projects and stick to smaller monthly ones to keep more people happy.

There is a bit of slippery slope argument here as well. If more gay animations turns away the straight patrons to the point they leave, then the percentage of people voting gay increases... which turns away more straight patrons. It could effectively make a group (possibly under represented, not sure) an increasing minority until they nearly cease to exist. I could only defer to Critter to use their long term demographic understanding of their base to know if the percentages have changed over time due to potential skewed animation output over a long time frame. I kind of have to agree with an aspect of Brent of just cutting the straight or gay options out completely and releasing them by percentage of total animations. This again would fall completely fall on Critter and the understanding or information of their support base. In that situation the vote could have all straight or all gay options depending what Critter feels is keeping in line with the proper balance.

Yeah it's a hard thing to balance when the amount of people wanting it one way isn't balanced to start with. There won't be any way to keep everyone happy but I'm hoping Cherry will even things out a bit. Since I can only pair feral with feral, I only have Cookie and Fridge to use for females, and Fridge is more of a static sub role, it heavily limits straight projects. So even if I did make it 50/50 gay and straight, the straight options won't be as good animations as the gay options until I have Cherry ready.

The whole gay vs straight discussion opened quite the can of worms so it seems. I do agree variety is good but I feel like the whole "the gay community has more money" is a bit unfair too. The reason as to why doesn't matter in terms of voting and none of the way people vote is Critter's fault. If all patrons are given fair options and the majority is gay and votes gay, then so be it. I understand it can be frustrating that that majority makes most animation votes lean to gay. But if that is what the majority of patrons want, the reason shouldn't matter... that's what patreon is for... to give the "payer" what they want and support artists that way. I feel like a good solution would be to just do a straight piece every now and then, without votes. But if thr majority of the patreons want gay... then it should be gay. They get what they pay for right? (On a sidenote, I'm bi, and I'm not advocating for any side here, but just hate to see how people get very fussy towards Critter for literally making what their patreons want to see... That shouldn't be a thing, I say we celebrate the beautiful work this artist makes, no matter the orientation!)

Sergals are copyrighted though so if he uses them without contacting the owner he could get a copyright strike and patreon could shut him down. Best to make a unique creature.

Roo sounds really interesting, why not go full outback and mix her with a thylacine? It's an extinct marsupial with some obvious feature similarities with roos, but their stripes are unmistakable and the more short, round ears are pretty cute. Another option is the dingo, but dogs are everywhere in the fandom. If you did go with a full marsupial build then having the generic anthro bits would be a bit disappointing. A stylized cloaca would be much more novel, and would keep with the theme.

I wasn't fussing about the content or lack of bi I was stating that due to the fact there are so many gay/bi patrons that go gay every time it kinda is disheartening to attempt to try and vote. Many see the numbers and give up without voting at all. That is the main issue here. If you want to do bi then why not use the new girl and chip but have Angus plow them both one after the other? That would fit the gay and straight parts.

The only way to show bi in porn is to show both gay and straight sex within the same animation, and that's why it's usually one or the other because that takes multiple characters and make for a much longer animation. If you do have some ideas for a bi animation that you've been wanting to see the please do let me know! :)

Funny enough I had a 5 month streak of straight not long ago but nobody ever complains unless it's been a gay streak xD

Even if there is multiple straight one gay you are kinda pushing out the straight by adding gay to every poll though. I mean if there is a majority focused on gay and there is an option for gay they will mass vote so it will skew the votes towards gay EVERY SINGLE TIME. You created a vicious cycle with the polls. Why not one gay then one straight poll to mix it up and give the others a chance?

I would agree with you that the furry community is mostly gay but in reality most people who support artists are gay. I am bi for example. There are more of us than any group in the Fandom at the moment but every poll is gay vs straight. They leave out the others like bi and pan. I am bi female focused so I am mostly straight. Sadly the Fandom is over saturated with gay in general which is disheartening to many of us. We lose every poll even if there is only one gay option, we get pushed out of commissions by gay partons who have way more money for some reason, and if we speak up they silence us with "bigot" speeches. I am glad you are going to do straight stuff because I was about to unsub and list you under another gay only artist which would make you 10k in a long list.

It may seem like other options would add up like that but you're forgetting I allow multiple votes per person. So if you only wanted straight then you can vote for all straight options, so it doesn't work as you explained. In any case I'm making this character to allow for better straight animation projects which will make for more likely straight vote option wins.

'Votes lean that way' is a pretty bad excuse when you make a poll with one gay option and several straight options. The straight options have more total votes but since they're split between several options they lose the polls. Sounds like you just made a bad poll.

I think a dragon-roo would be pretty cool like others have said, but to go with the head, a deer could work. Since she's female, she wouldn't have antlers like a doe. She would probably have longer fur hairs and white spots along her, though. Some nice patterns. Perhaps a thinner snout.

Then I could see something like a mouse or squirrel. Something that can already do that hind leg pose (despite the different tail). The racoon is another idea that would not be a dramatic shift from a roo base body. Maybe a nice capybara.

I like the idea of a Dragon-roo. Like some minor scaled plates along the front of the legs and ridge of the nose and some short little horns. Perhaps a few spikes along the back.
