Why not just leave your favorite one at home? There was nothing special about it, we all just assumed he was a massive sore loser and couldn't handle losing a match

Personally, I found them more fun to collect than play. Eventually they just kind of sat in my closet and collected dust. Wish I had kept my Simpsons pogs though, those were pretty sweet (although I don't think they ever did an actual ALF pog which would have been the best thing ever).
