Development Log : Week of July 20 - 26

Since I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.

Current Stretch Goals

• $300 per month to unlock spicy side stories  (Achieved!)

• $600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions  (Achieved!)

• $1100 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1100+/$1000)

Browser Compatibility:

• Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)

• Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (Might work as of June 2025), Midori

• Sound files may not work properly on iOS 💀 (Update to OS might fix this)

July 20

• Ran another RandomText x 40,000 to make certain that weird bug in Chapter2-2 is fixed. It didn't crop up again, so here's hoping.

• Alpha Update impending. Probably on Tuesday, barring any other unforeseen bugs.

• Otherwise, Research Day (Arthur Stalkers + Philadelphia City Hall)

July 21

• ~2300 words written/coded of game

• Arrival at City Hall. No moving suspicious moving statues to be seen here.

• This section is taking a bit longer to code than I first expected, since I allowed the MC to take a weapon with them. Hopefully switching over to the real weapons for the game will streamline this process.

July 22

• ~1500 words written/coded of game

• City Hall reached. Merlin not disconcerted at all.

• Alpha Build updated. Of course I had to add a bunch of images and tweaks at the last moment.

July 23

• ~1200+ words written of this month's winning drabble.

• ~1200 words written/coded of game

• In the midst of final conversation in front on City Hall

July 24

• ~200+ words written of this month's winning drabble.

• Drabble edited + posted

• ~1000+ words written/coded of game

• Merlin & Adrian fly the coop. Main City Hall hub started.

• Whoops, forgot to post this.

July 25

• ~1200+ words written of this month's second place drabble.

• ~900+ words written/coded of game

• MC thwarted from going inside. Partway through the perfectly normal cafe branch.

July 26

• ~400+ words written of this month's winning drabble.

• Drabble edited + posted

• ~900+ words written/coded of game

• Perfectly normal lunch finished.
