Development Log : Week of March 16 - March 22

Since I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.

Current Stretch Goals

• $300 per month to unlock spicy side stories  (Achieved!)

• $600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions  (Achieved!)

• $1000 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1200/$1000)

Browser Compatibility:

• Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)

• Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (whyyyy), Midori

• Also, apparently the sound files aren't working properly on iOS. 💀

March 16

• ~2300 words written/coded of game.

• Investigating Merlin, Adrian, & Percy online is done.

March 17

• ~2100+ words written/coded of game.

• Posting on social media done. Doing unsavory things on the internet started.

• Had to tweak some things on my site that got broken by the additional security + finally got polls up and running there.

March 18

• ~2000+ words written/coded of game.

• Skullduggery on the internet (hacking, bombs, lockpicking, dark web) done.

March 19

• ~2500+ words written/coded of game.

• The hub for scrubbing your online presence is now done.

• Some past variables in past chapters tweaked.

March 20

• ~2200+ words written/coded of game.

• The odd news hub is completed. Next up, going back to Merlin's section to add a confrontation scene based on what you can discover here.

• Even more past variables in past chapters tweaked.

March 21

• ~2100+ words written/coded of game.

• Partway through Merlin's hidden feeding habits scene. Merlin's scenes do tend to run long.

• 3 hours to figure out which Wordpress plugin update broke the site. 🥲 It was one of the last ones I tested too, since I couldn't see how Markup Markdown could be blocking people from logging in.

March 22

• ~1650+ words of this month's winning drabble written

• ~1500 words written/coded of game.

• Merlin feeding habits scene finished. That just leaves looking up fairy folklore on the internet as the final part of this hub.
