Development Log : Week of December 15 - 21

Since I don't want to be continuously spamming everyone's emails every day with my progress report, I'll be editing this pinned post throughout the week instead.

Current Stretch Goals

• $300 per month to unlock spicy side stories  (Achieved!)

• $600 per month for extended character Question & Answer sessions  (Achieved!)

• $1000 per month to unlock a second drabble each month (Currently: $1100/$1000)

Browser Compatibility:

• Works: Chrome, Opera, Safari (Mobile), Brave (Desktop)

• Doesn't Work: Firefox + derivatives (whyyyy), Midori

• Also, apparently the sound files aren't working properly on iOS. 💀

December 15

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~460+ Lines of Code. (Currently at line 13473 out of 14750, Approx. ~2900+ words)

• Adrian's platonic hangout done. Next is icebreaker questions for MCs who didn't choose the Adrian friendship background (which also happens to be the final section of Adrian's hub).

December 16

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~450 Lines of Code. (Currently at line 13919 out of 14814, Approx. ~2600+ words)

• First version of Adrian's icebreaker questions done. Two to go.

• Woke at 4AM today, so early Patreon post, here we go!

December 17

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~480 Lines of Code. (Currently at line 14397 out of 14944, Approx. ~3300+ words)

• Second version of Adrian's icebreaker questions done. One more to go to finish off Adrian's part of the hub.

December 18

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~410+ Lines of Code. (Currently at line 14811 out of 15027, Approx. ~2100+ words)

• Partway through the final version of Adrian's icebreaker questions. I might've gone a little overboard with all the personality variations here.

December 19

• Checked/Edited/Polished ~200+ Lines of Code. (Finished at Line 15020, Approx. ~1600+ words)

• Adrian's hub is done. Began readying the files for the next Alpha update. (So many typos & bug fixes to the earlier chapters!)

• Just realized I lost all the annotations from Chapter2-3, so that needs to re-merge with its November 11th version. ( ⚆﹏⚆ )

• QuickTest passed. Currently running RandomTest x 50,000

• Created sound effects. Bagpipe music is a go!

December 20

• RandomTest x 50,000 passed.

• All new files have been checked and uploaded.

• Alpha has been updated to include Adrian's portion of the Free Time Hub

December 21

• ~2100+ words written/coded of game.

• Set up the mechanics for Percy's part of the Free Time Hub

• Partway through the dating Percy portion... coughs Uh yeah, that certainly got diverted into... interesting topics there.

• Pushed a quick bugfix for Adrian's free time hub (I didn't like how the platonic hangouts were being handled) + added a way to trigger percy_no_touch in Chapter2-3 (since I'm currently writing an entire scene where MC discusses this with Percy in the hub 😅)
