Alpha Update - Ver. 0.24 (Free Time Hub - Merlin Complete)

Remember to check that the starting page of the game says Version 0.24, to clear your browser's cache & reload the page for the Oneknightstand.co website (making certain your browser is using the newest version of the files), and to check your Status page before proceeding.

If your Status Page has reverted to default ?¿?¿?¿ values then your current save slot is corrupted and you'll have to load a different one (as proceeding with a corrupted save will give a bunch of nonexistent errors -- my own Saves from Chapter 2-3 corrupted with this update 🥲)

As this is a hub that will become available once every chapter from this point onwards, you'll be able to run through it 3 - 4 times (depending if you're slothful or not) before the game moves on.

The sections in this update have to be triggered by fulfilling certain prerequisites. In the Alpha, if you don't currently qualify for something, the option will be grayed out. In the Beta + finished version of the game, these options will be hidden instead.

Update Includes

• Lucid Dreamer talk with Merlin (requires being a lucid dreamer)

• Talking about Merlin's specialties (requires Merlin to have mentioned three times that they're not the best at healing/warding/purifying etc)

• Talking about the wards on the RV (requires a little girl invasion at the rest stop)

• Confrontation about the outcome of the First Circle (requires researching the First Circle)

• Talking about the presence of a certain someone in Cape Town (requires researching the Second Circle)

• Talking about the Seven Princes of Hell & the Diablerie Court (requires having the demon lore drop with Merlin in the MC's apartment)

• New text messaging sequence with Merlin (requires a certain outcome from the Second Circle discussion)

• Bug fixes to chapter1, chapter1-5, chapter1-6, chapter1-7, chapter2-2, chapter2-3, and gosub (may break/corrupt saves in those areas)

• Approx ~25,000 additional words, including code
