Upcoming patch structure

Hey guys, thank you all for being interested in the game.
Currently I still need to spend many hours of the week on other things since of course I don't make a living off of this just yet. This generally means that I have to be careful with spending time on adding new content vs bug testing.

My initial plan was adding mostly content every 1-4 updates, hotfix the biggest issues, then doing a big bugfix + performance update every 5th update. (Which is what I've been doing so far)

My current approach means that I spend most of the time I have to work on the game, on adding new content and that I basically delay most bugtesting to the 5th patch.

This strategy basically creates quick growth, but buggier releases which get rectified every 5th patch.

However, I could also do a different strategy where less content gets added every patch, but the 1-4 updates will be more stable.

This will make the development slower as a whole, but the actual releases will be more pleasant.

I don't think this is really a concern once I actually am able to work 40 hours a week, as I'll have more time to spend on working on this project thus will be able to spend my time better.

Now the real question is, what do you want?

Thank you! Really hoping I can get some more good content in soon for you guys to enjoy =)

Haha, eventually I'll do a mix, but I think I'll go a bit slower after 0.0.5, just to prevent some of the bugs that I'd otherwise not have time to get rid of. I'll admit that releasing and then finding out some things don't work doesn't feel great when you're hoping that people are having fun with the game! Thankfully though, I've already added a lot of "systems" in place so I only need to add upon those which is much less bug-sensitive than actually creating them. Right now I just need to iron out the bugs that currently exist :p

Regardless of how you decide to do it, I'm definitely excited to see your growth! Love the art style and I'm excited to start playing.

I would personally say whatever you feel the most comfortable with. Creativity requires a healthy mind after all.

Can't say I expected people to vote for the polar opposites hahah
