Turning the Page [v0.32.0] Quick Update #49

Hope you’re having a good December so far! The holiday season might be coming up soon, but we’re still hard at work 😋. As such, here’s a breakdown of the work we’ve done so far on our next update:
Writing: 60%
CGs: 4/6 (3 Scenes)
Animation 1/1
Additional art 1/1
Coding: 60%
Music and SFX: 60%
Proofreading: 30%
Before we leave, we just want to leave you with a piece of news that some of you might be interested in. Including December’s v0.32.0, there will be three more monthly updates for Turning the Page. Meaning that the plan is to wrap it up in February 2025.
We’re getting close to telling all we want to tell of Sophie’s story. It’s been a pleasure and we look forward to showing you the rest of it, but all good things must come to an end.
What will we be doing afterwards? Definitely something NTR-related, no doubt! We aren’t quite ready to reveal that yet, but trust us when we say a fair bit of development has already been done on it. You won’t need to be waiting too long to see it, that’s for sure! 😁

2024-12-22 23:38:55 +0000 UTCJust playing the game through again. Sat up all night playing it. Played Felix. Ending 1. Not a fan. Playing Sophie ... again. A few observations. This is brilliant. Sublime. The writing is excellent. Funny. Fortunately I live on my own because the ... script has me laughing out loud. A lot. I dislike Felix immensely (he got my back up the first time in his first class when he told the class to address him either as Dr Page or Professor Page - put that bloody high horse back in the stable, moron!), but I have to say that whoever created the character is a star. He is socially and sexually inept. A middle class, judgmental arsehole. I've worked with people like him. He is real. I love the touch with his refusal to push Sophie on the swing on their evening walk in the park; the socks and sandals. The little touches that make it real. Genius. Corruption is one of my favourite tags and, in my view, you've got the 'speed' of the corruption spot on with this one and I love Sophie. I'd be all over her like a rash. Thank you and I am seriously looking forward to the last three updates.

I'm on the Felix perspective and he's annoying the bejaysus out of me but I'm going to stick with it. Having started with the positive ... very positive, I should like to make a pedantic point (and there are an awful lot of devs out there that get this wrong - this is just the first time I've felt moved to mention it). A male massage type person is a 'masseur' and a female massage type person is a 'masseuse'. A male driver type person is a 'chauffeur' and a female driver type person is a 'chauffeuse'. '-eur' is the masculine ... suffix for a person who does something and '-euse' is the feminine suffix. I apologise for my pedantry but it was annoying me. Having said that I still refer to ladies in the film and theatre business as actresses :-D ... and I hasten to add that I am not an aul' fella.
