A few notes about the suggestion box

Honestly, this has been weighing on me for many months now. It is really hard for me to actually say what I said in this. On one hand, I want everyone to be happy and satisfied. I like to please people, and have always been that way. On the business side though, I know that I've been really, really accepting of suggestion, even though I know they are outside the spirit of the suggestion box and are really in the commission territory. Please understand, I am not mad at anyone. I don't want anyone to feel bad or hurt by what I said. I don't mean to make anyone feel bad. But, I really need to think a little more about my own well being while also making sure I keep bringing all of you plenty of content.

If you're curious about how my normal day goes. Here it is:

6:00-6:30am- Get woken up by my 2 year old

6:30-8am- Be in a haze of sleep and awake as I try to appease my 2 year old while desperately trying to get just 5 more minutes of precious sleep.

8am- Give up and get up. Get little one ready for the day. She watches Baby Shark, I either do housework, or if absolutely dead tired, sneak a 30 minute nap in. Get our dog (diabetic, blind, deaf) to eat. Get my fingers bitten as I get the litany of pills into him.

9:30-10:00am- Take little one out of the house. Park, grocery shopping, mall to play in the little animal play area.

12:00/1:00pm- Come back home, make lunch. Eat quickly

12:30/1:30pm- Nap time. (I have to lay down with her or else she won't stay in bed) I also pray that I don't accidentally fall asleep while waiting for her to go down.

12:45/1:45- 2:00/3:30pm- Sometimes I can get work done (like today). Sometimes, I have other housework to do. Sometimes I have to go somewhere to get something. Sometimes, she doesn't sleep and instead, I'm spending time with her.

Once she wakes up- Work time immediately ends. Reading time, or interactive games with little one. (I ensure she gets at least 30 minutes of reading, and a minimum of 30 minutes of active movement each day).

5:00pm- Dinnertime for everyone. Prepare little one's meal, prep and cook my own, clean the kitchen before I start so I can mess it up when I'm cooking (lol)

6:00pm- Dinner for dog. His dinners are not as simple as dropping kibble in a bowl. He is extremely picky in his old age. Dinners include a combination of rotisserie chicken, beef kielbasa (cut small), turkey, and/or roast beef. Usually have to sit with him and hold the bowl in front of him so he'll eat.

6:30pm- Usually a combination of cleaning up, playing with little one, getting the doggo situated (I have to carry him up and down the stairs).

7:30- Bath time (this gets pushed back all the time to 8:30 because life)

9/10pm- Bedtime (again, I lay with her until she sleeps

10pm- Clean up whatever was messed up since the last time I cleaned up. Sit at my desk, and take a few minutes to decompress

10:30pm- Start working stopping whenever the dog needs to go out, or if little one wakes up, or if something happens (doggo tends to have bowel movements at random, so that's always a fun cleanup)

2/3am- Line up whatever work I've done to render, go to sleep.

This repeats every, single, day. No breaks, no weekends, no days off. Despite not exercising, I still take a minimum of 6,000 steps every day just walking around doing things.

I am a tired Phoenix.

Awesome work. I just wish I could raise my tier to show that I appreciate all your work. Excellent artist. Don’t really realise how busy you are

Paul

Oh! It’s probably because you dropped tiers!

That’s odd. I post a new one every month on the first and tag it suggestion box as well
