I do get mad on your behalf the more I hear about Spenny behind the scenes. 😅 It’s great that you’re both on fine enough terms but we hear about his shitty behavior for the first time and get annoyed right along with you.

I'm from Austria and can perfectly remember the first time I saw the show on Comedy Central. It was the Meat-Episode and I immediately got hooked and so did all my friends in school. (the german voice actors where incredibly passionate, made a great job translating your jokes and personality into our language and are a huge reason I think why the show was so popular on german Comedy Central) Today, I know at least 15 people, living here in Austria, who watch KVS at least once a month and have been for years and introduce people to it on a regulary basis. It's kinda tough to get new people into it though. Whenever I try to introduce someone new to KVS, they do everything they're supposed to. Laugh, cringe, get disgusted, laugh more, but they never really get into it, that they like go home and binge watch entire seasons...luckily there're always exceptions to this and therefore new enthusiasts/degenerates, like me, among them.
