Tuning diodes or "Varactor Diodes" are found in many tuners, receivers, oscillators, (VCO's) and many other applications. Here is how they work, and how to test them with a circuit we built in Lesson 3. Once you see this video, understanding Varactor controlled circuits is a breeze. Enjoy!
