Would one be able to hear a noisy diode / Zener with The Ultra Probe ?

Hello Paul I've recently joined your Patreon pages. I've also been watching tour restorations and repairs there. I have an issue with a PSU fron a Seleco SVR-150 projection TV can you help me to reverse engineer the PSU witch has a blown primay of the switching transformer. and help would be greatly appreciated. i don't want to take it to a landfill site.
