With all the various capacitor values available that are X2Y1 rated, how do you decide what value to use? I would assume if the circuit had a non-X2Y1 capacitor, you would match its value, but what about new equipment that you are building or is old and never had a cap on the AC input? Maybe a video on how to pick the right value ?
