#3 Super Electronics Troubleshooter- Fast Problem Recognition and Repair with No Schematics.

This is an "almost" real time repair (1 Hour) of a large power supply and tube amplifier used on a set. This is an example of how fast repairs need to be accomplished in the field to get things moving again. Here you will learn fast component recognition, transformer wire colors, discoloration in tubes, and why it happens. See the bare minimum of component replacement to make the device work again in a rush situation. All this is done with no schematics! One more step towards working on devices with little or no information. Enjoy!

Great Work Thank you

Never mind... I saw you address this in the next video with the Fender guitar amp. ;)

Great video Paul! I noticed you didn't have a load on the output during the initial power up & testing. I was always told to make sure the output transformer is loaded before powering on a tube amplifier. Is this not the case or is it okay being that you weren't feeding the input and it was sitting idle?
