Yeah, the old Johnson Viking 2 ham transmitter used a pair of 807's as modulators. and a pair of 6146's in the final. Common type configuration for the 100 watt class plate modulated ham transmitters of the 1940's and 1950's. Also, the minimalist design of that MAAS amplifier is awesome. Minimal number of components to go bad. And easier to troubleshoot when something does go wrong.
