Random Jam #36 Sneak Peek
Added 2021-02-25 18:43:55 +0000 UTCHey guys, here's a bit from the upcoming jam. This one will drop next week and will most likely be the last Random Jam for a while! I'm moving abroad very soon and won't have access to a proper studio for a month or two. The video format will change a bit but stay tuned, I've got some cool stuff on the way<3

2021-03-01 16:57:41 +0000 UTCAwesome! I'm excited about this track, and I'm excited to be here on your patreon. I'm hoping to get some ideas for progressions outta playing some of your songs. By the way have you heard of Saib? Awesome lofi guitarist/beat producer. There's sometimes I hear one of his songs and swear it yours until I check. lol this one specifically gets me almost every time : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zAs97ksUIA

2021-03-01 15:55:18 +0000 UTCOh!! I misunderstood this whole time, I thought Bastl one could loop both midi and audio! Well, that rules it out. Thanks so much! Looking forward to next breakdown as usual!

2021-02-26 18:12:17 +0000 UTCHey thanks a lot. :) I did shoot a breakdown video of the jam #35 where I talk about the Bastl Midilooper but this one will only be released in April! The March video will be about the jam #34 (and I don't talk about the looping part all that much in this one). The Cuckoo gives a pretty good idea of how the Midilooper works, it has the same workflow as a guitar looper but it's aimed at synths instead. You can't loop audio signals at all with it! I think it's really cool if you want to keep your setup small and straightforward but it might be limiting on the long run? Especially as it can't send MIDI clock, which means it would be hard to sync it with a regular looper for your guitar. :/ If you want a looper that you can sync with a Digitakt, you might wanna look into the Boss RC-200? It's quite new and I never tried it myself so it's hard to say but I've heard some good things about the MIDI sync. Also it's significantly cheaper than the Aeros. :)

2021-02-26 18:09:35 +0000 UTCAldo I hope you have a smooth move back to France! Will there be details on video breakdown and using Bastl midi looper on March 1st? There isn't a lot on it on YouTube even though I've been eyeing it since Cuckoo gave a teaser, not sure how I'd like it and gear and style I play/would like to play is similar to yours. I've been playing around with boyfriend's MXR clone looper playing a strat; it is simple and works well. I've held off on getting a looper myself for a long time but I think it's time! A looper that will also work well with synths (Digitakt) with the quantization and stuff that I think you mentioned that needed workarounds with the ditto X4. I see the Aeros loop studio also can quantize...seeing 6 tracks obviously is also cool! I keep being curious at Bastl one though. I might have a better sense at the jam break down so feel free to leave out what you'll talk about there :D but any other thoughts?

2021-02-26 15:50:23 +0000 UTCHey! Aha, dans le sud normalement, vers Montpellier. Mais d'abord je vais passer quelques semaines chez mes parents près de Nantes, d'où l'absence de studiooo.
