Patrons Ask GN 33: How Much Content in Advance? How Many Folding Rigs?

Hey everyone,

Thanks for checking back in and for submitting more Patreon Ask GN questions. For this series, I really like answering ones that are more about how things operate behind-the-scenes or "inside baseball," as Linus likes to phrase it. It's the type of stuff that we don't normally talk about in the main episodes. Timestamps are below for the questions this week. If you don't know how to join the Discord, you can join here: https://blog.patreon.com/integrating-with-discord

00:31 - How Much Content in Advance?

Cmoney: Lets say that hypothetically you have to play all of the video you currently have content for how much extra content do you have in the production channel that is ready to go?

04:04 - Binning Your GPUs?

Yewzie: @Steve Burke for your upcoming #RIPJAY stuff, did you try ocing both cards on Air before choosing which one you were gonna use for your own attempt at shunt modding? To bin the two cards to see which ocs best on air

04:52 - Did You Get De-Money-ified?

Nory: @Steve Burke did your Covid19 video get Demonetized?

06:37 - Front Brake e-bike?

Jesticles: @Steve Burke How much do you rely on your front brake, when riding your e-bike?

08:53 - How Many Folding Rigs?

Dabanhfreak: Awesome you got your F@H rig going. My question is, how many individual F@H machines could GN feasibly build? I just watched your cat angels video and saw a surplus of hardware. Would be a cool charity livestream.

09:45 - Do Manufacturers Space Products?

Inderjeet Singh 03/21/2020 #askgn-questions With the Human Malware situation impacting product launches, and this is merely speculation. Are manufacturers looking to be mindful about potentially having product launches happening all at the same time, creating a massive workload spike for reviewers and possible burnout.

Regen just runs the motor as a generator, its done in the ESC. Some ESC´s also short the motor to give even more breaking power, but that doesnt provide any extra range of course.

Gigabyte does seem to actively solicit input from people - isn't that where Buildzoid disappeared to for a couple weeks last year to do some motherboard testing (x570, I think)?
