Lots of Case Testing
Added 2017-09-29 13:00:02 +0000 UTCThere's a lot of case testing & reviews coming up and, as Patreon backers, you're privy to that information.
We've got the Thermaltake View 71 in the pipe right now. Its testing is finalized, Andrew finalized the broll, and Patrick is finalizing the script. That'll have a review shortly. Following this, we expect to review the Cooler Master Cosmos C700P (the giant case that we basically already reviewed here https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/3042-cooler-master-c700p-build-initial-review-pax) and the H500P. Newegg already spoiled the H500P release date as 10/10/17, so it would be reasonable to assume our review would coincide with that launch date.
After these, we'll be busy with Coffee Lake, so it's hard to say if other cases/coolers will work their way into the pipe or if we'll stay focused on CL for a while. We also have the Strix V64 card coming in, which Buildzoid plans to use for a PCB analysis on our channel.
Case viewership seems to be growing, but is still significantly lower than GPU/CPU coverage. Part of that is probably the type of audience we've grown, but we're trying to keep things in the review cycle other than CPUs and GPUs. Gets a little tiring working on those, even though they are somewhat infinite in testing depth options.

2017-12-10 20:08:38 +0000 UTCI hope to see more cases with 200mm fans. My NZXT Phantom 820 is looking for a decent successor.
2017-11-01 15:52:00 +0000 UTCBeen think9ing about building a fan testing case . any thoughts
2017-10-16 02:33:57 +0000 UTCAnother vote for Phanteks Enthoo Evolve. I'm sure it's not the best thermals, but it looks so pretty. If you do test that case, please test with top mounted fans with and without the top portion sealed off. See the top right of my photo here: https://i.imgur.com/sO5wRSV.jpg. I haven't gotten around to sealing it off yet, I'd like to see if it's worth the effort.
2017-10-15 21:10:48 +0000 UTCGN has grown considerably, and life is always hectic. I do appreciate smaller cases for non-workstations and am very much interested in cases of 'All' calibers, even ones that wont fit in my humble dwelling, lol. Great to see more stuff flowing through the GN lab, having a backlog of stuff to test is always better than none B)
