Project update

The new version will be released in a few days.

Between the current publicly available version and the version on Discord, the differences will be ENORMOUS. There have been many long months of work behind this, and even work that has been carried out for several years.

I want to remind you that I create custom models, a tremendous amount of assets, rigging, skinning, texturing, and animations. This is not simply porting and retargeting; everything is custom-made to suit the project's needs. All the animations, whether they are movements or specific actions or XXX, are entirely done by me. Furthermore, I handle all the development myself, writing all the code.
I strive to use as few assets from marketplaces as possible to ensure unique content for this project and avoid redundancy.

I have reached a point where I have produced a significant number of assets and characters, allowing me to focus more on the game's development itself. I chose this approach because the most challenging and time-consuming aspect is the 3D work and animations. All my characters have varied sizes and can have significant differences. From my perspective as an animator, this also allows for more types and varieties of animations.
However, it also means more work, as each animation must be unique for each character. Despite my experience of over 8 years in animation and 3D, it remains a time-consuming process.

Parallelly, I have worked extensively on the code. Starting relatively simply with limited knowledge initially, I made many mistakes. However, I have become more proficient, reducing spaghetti code as I gained experience. All the code is my own; there is no code borrowed from marketplace projects.

Before starting this project, I worked as a 3D animator, and I had no knowledge of Unreal Engine. Since then, I have acquired many skills and now have a good understanding of what I'm doing. While I don't consider myself an expert in Unreal Engine, I am far from being a beginner.

Considering the work I have prepared so far, it will allow for smoother updates in the future. Following this update, there will be another relatively significant update at the end of August. Additionally, a limited demo version for the public will be released in early August.

As for the future, it will depend on the support I receive. As I mentioned before, I have done a lot of work with very few resources. Moreover, my father passed away earlier this month, and due to financial constraints, I couldn't even attend his funeral as I live far away in Europe. I hope that after this new version and starting from September, things will improve for me, and I might get some luck for the future. Without more serious support to sustain this work, it will have to take a back seat, and I won't be able to dedicate all my time to it.

The goal for September is to reach or get close to $1000 per month, and I can assure you that the project will be secure and continue. I believe I have proven over the last few years, through showcasing all the work-in-progress videos, that this project has always been active despite the difficulties and personal problems I faced while working on it.
