There are 2 leaders of Younite. The other leader is Eunho. He is good friends with Heeseung and was a trainee at Hybe. He reached out to Heeseung and Heeseung recommended that they do Bite Me for their performance. I think Younite and the The New6 were the most creative, as Tempest and 8turn both followed the original choreo more. If you vote pure performance I agree with the outcome. If you want a more kpop vibe based on singing and dancing, then it would be Tempest and 8turn. 8Turn cracked me up when they said the dance was exhausting even when they slowed it down. Ni-ki with Enhypen always says that this song is one of the hardest in terms of dance and stamina that he has ever performed.

And I get why people might rank YOUNITE’s performance at #1 — the acting and storyline were strong, and I did like it too. But devilish concepts just aren’t my thing. I mean, I like scary, just not devilish. 😅 Anyway, like I said, THE NEW SIX still takes the top spot for me, even after watching episode three. And here’s why: first off, it was genius of them to pick THE queen Phobia — a song Stray Kids themselves don’t even recognize. Not a title track but a B-side that’s a fan-favorite? Huge plus! I love queen Phobia! What sets them apart this round is Hwi (the ACE this round), who did not just perform but rearranged, wrote the rap parts, and shaped the concept this round. Sure, the butterfly theme is kind of their thing already, but you know what I mean. He even helped create the choreography and directed the performance. That’s some ACE-level work! I’m just glad they finally showed a bit of what he did this round because last time they cut out a lot of his efforts (Hwi rearranged Drowning performance by Junhyeok, contributed in rearrangement of team performance). But I have to say, it breaks my heart that despite all his hard work, Hwi didn’t get fully recognized in the rankings after episode 3 (not a spoiler, don’t worry!). He really deserved more credit, and so did the whole team. They worked so hard, but it feels like they didn’t quite get the recognition they earned this round. Also, can we talk about how much trust the members put in him? They fully supported his ideas, and the result was amazing. And let’s not forget — they didn’t just pick any random song; they chose one that really resonates with them. THE NEW SIX has a small fandom, still this performance was their way of showing their love and appreciation for their fans „thx“. 🥺 So heartwarming they are so grateful to us! Oh, and here’s something wild — they didn’t even put their main dancer anywhere near the center during the dance break, and still had immaculate energy. 😭 That’s an ACE group right there! Now, about the performance itself — perfect from start to finish! The storytelling, heartfelt vocals, and that mind-blowing dance break at the end? 🤯 Seriously, watch their fancams and you’ll see how talented they are as dancers. The teamwork, the energy, everything was just on point! Okay, maybe I’m a bit biased, but I still think my ranking is still reasonable! 🤭🦋 My overall ranking: 1. THE NEW SIX🦋 2. YOUNITE 3. TEMPEST 4. 8TURN And that “TEMPEST might need to bring Bang Chan to beat THE NEW SIX” comment? I was dying — almost peed my pants, it was so funny. 😂

2024-10-06 23:15:13 +0000 UTCthe leader was the ace for tempest too 😭 not just younite. 😭 the ace is supposed to change each round. ngl if i was eunsang from younite i would be crashing out the first day too. 😭 you have the teams who voted you last, smiling and laughing in your face and having fun while you’re upset? bro. i feel eunsang, it did come off a little weird but i don’t fault his behavior at all. and i also agree i like how upfront he is ngl it’s kinda funny to me 😭 like younite is being REAL with their feelings and eunsang definitely gives he only cares abt his teammates and i love that. like he’s their “protector” and will crash out at any given moment lol. and i also agree i feel like 8turn probably learned through this that story telling in kingdom performances heavily weighs who wins. my ranking would be : tnx vs tempest : tnx win ! younite vs 8turn : younite win ! younites story teling was my overall favorite with tnx right behind them.

2024-10-06 05:47:05 +0000 UTCthe new six choosing a song with no choreography, no video so they had absolutely nothing they could be compared to and were able to be creative with the entire song and performance is the smartest thing ever. i was so glad they didn’t use a title track. using a bside that not many know was a hidden gem. “tempest gonna have to bring out skz to win” had ME DYING LSUGHING PLS. they don’t get a time limit for these rounds they just perform the song btw. every ace member will most likely be different every round with each team. so the leader for tempest being the ace makes sense bcs he suited felix’s part the best. they vote within the team for the ace which is whoever suits the song/performance the best and the ace must stand out and own the entire stage. that’s why they have a separate ace ranking and the team rankings. the ace MUST do well for the team’s sake. if the ace is placed last that will bring the team’s overall score down. they mentioned that tempest used the original choreography bcs there is an option to change the choreo up to your liking! just like you are allowed to rearrange and remix the song as you please. i honestly wished myself they mixed up the choreography a bit for the chorus and make it more TEMPEST?? yk. 😭
