I would honestly want to see yall react to iland2 one day with the girls! I watched I-land as it was going on in 2020 and voted etc so I’m more attached to them and this season. But I feel like from a reactors point yall would have a lot of input on everything that goes on and the vocals, performance, etc

Global votes are popularity votes it's clear however judging based on how much they went to ground is not that much better as the boys' votes during part 1 were also biased...

Actually, the main reason was because it was at the height of pandemic during this time. Prior to this episode, they had a short break, and someone from the cleaning agency got infected and had to be quarantined. Everyone, including the participants had to be tested and thankfully, no one got the virus. So this was probably one of the reasons why they were so strict with people coming from the outside, hence this set up.

A lot of people didn’t like the global votes aspect but I personally think it was really smart because it let the producers know who the public was drawn to and who they’d want in a group so they had more information to gage from. Not just who is the best but also who pulls in a crowd . Two sides of the coin

the global votes were kinda always wonky because people were voting purely on who they wanted to be saved the most. I was on twitter when voting was happening so a lot of people wanted the save sunoo and ended up not voting as hard for other people like jay/jake to get someone who was struggling to stay in the i-land.
