nia i loveee falling flower especially since the jap version is like an anime op but once you watch the mv it literally elevates the whole song thats how good it is and the choreo too please check out the mvs for the Japanese songs and their choreo, it is for sure a must watch like it wont disappoint

That could be because we’re all used to them but nothing beats the originals!

Not super accurate translations but for how quick they come out, they're decent haha

The entire concept of spell is about it being a language only two lovers know, no one else understands it so they deliberately added gibberish words to make it sound like a spell that they’re putting us under, something we can repeat and vibe to because at the end of the day, it’s something only we can understand and interpret (subjectively)

Just wanted to let you know for future album reviews, for their older songs, seventeenlyrics have the most accurate lyrics and the always credit seventeen and their team! Unfortunately, they no longer do lyrics video going forward but there is a new lyric video creator for svt called SVTstudio on youtube! Hopefully you'll be able to go to them for newer album reviews! Wanted to let you guys know since the lyric videos at the start were really bad translation-wise hahaha looking forward to more svt reaction from you two!!

2024-05-07 16:43:00 +0000 UTCLalali is actually said as ‘nallari ’ over there and it has a few definitions, one of them is that it’s a traditional wind instrument which I think you can hear in the song but the way they’re using it in this, dissing their haters, the other definition is basically a punk or a ‘party b*tch’, or someone who doesn’t really care, sort of in a ‘idc about how you feel, bc I’m lalali anyways’ Another cool thing i want to add is that in the fml album, I don’t understand but I luv you was about how love transcends languages and how you don’t need to understand each other bc love is love whereas spell gives you the story that now we can make a language that only we understand, that no one else knows, one we can use to cast spells etc etc so now it’s about communicating that love, the whole concept is so cool and well thought out 🥹
