ART BOARD : Horseman with Flaming Steed

Many of you really enjoyed the Myconid Queen Art Board I shared a few days ago :) Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I have some better ideas for the base and mushrooms thanks to you. I had a lot of fun with that, so I have made another one!
Horseman with Flaming Steed Art Board
These are the main things I am playing with in the design right now with a short summary of my current plan. I am very open to new ideas.
- Rider (Torn between two options, more info below)
- Gear (Spikes on the bridle, and chains for the reins)
- Horse (Something between undead and normal)
For the pose I'm planning something dynamic. The horse will either be running or rearing. It is so easy to make a standing pose, I'm probably going to add that as a bonus pose. There will definitely be a version with just the horse and no rider because all I have to do is hide the rider and export. Lots of bonus versions with this model haha
I specifically want to know your thoughts on the rider. Normally, I'd do a poll format, but then you can't click on the artboard images to get a closer look. So instead, if you go to the comments you'll see you have two comments from me. Every like on the comment counts as a vote!

I have rough block outs for most of the models in the collection right now. So next month is all about refining the concepts with you and making them something special! I'm really digging this two month format, thanks for giving me the artistic flexibility :) It allows Patrons to be a lot more involved in the design process too. I'm constantly impressed with your good ideas! Someone suggested making the flaming mane/tail of the horse separate for easy printing in different colors and maybe even LEDs. I'm looking into that too! It might be too small to key nicely, but worth looking into.

2021-05-27 18:18:44 +0000 UTCI also love the female-centric models, you seem to convey true femininity with strength without having to portray half naked girls. The elf would be great maybe with cold blue flames that just freeze and shrivel things instead of full on destruction (fire destroys forests, not what an elf would want IMHO). Both would look good, and I'm happy with either design, but the female is definitely the business and with your styling would be awesome. 😻😻 BTW, with the horse's mouth closed, apart from looking better it would be easier to print. Thank you Mia, for the incredible sculpts.
