Viking Collection Sneak Peek!

Hello Everyone!

I have two previews to share for the Viking collection. Both are around 40% done. I have another handful at this stage but these two are currently my favorite. (Though the shaman is a close third right now. I'll share a look at her later this week)

Here is the shield maiden so far! I had a lot of fun creating the round shield. The engravings are really deep so it'll print nicely. Usually the details and pose are what really "make" the model. I'm surprised at how awesome she looks already with just the bare bone design! I'm looking forward to creating a new axe too. The on in the picture is a placeholder from an old model I made. My modeling skills have improved so the new axe is going to be awesome~

And here is the blacksmith so far! I'm going to change her face to be more distinct from the shield maiden. I also want to develop her shoulder and back muscles a bit more too! Chainmail wasn't too common for Vikings and only seen on high status individuals since it was expensive. I'm thinking of adding a bit of chainmail here because I'd love to think she would be a master blacksmith. I do love the current look with bare shoulder though so we'll see what I end up with.

OTHER PROJECTS

I have two massive side projects that will be announced in April. All I will say for now is that monster enthusiasts and artists are going to have a lot to look forward to :)
