Angels Progress and a Bonus Model!

Hi Patrons!

I've been quiet this month! I know they same time flies when you are having fun but, WOW. I cannot believe it is the 25th!

Last month you all responded incredibly to my Mounts Collection.  I really pushed those models to be the best I can do. I didn't plan to work so hard again this month, but I did haha It has been so much fun too! Armor is an area I've wanted to upgrade for a long time, so that is exactly what I did! I watched some lessons, did a lot of reading, and came up with a new way to do armor. I'm excited to share the results with you! I wouldn't be able to do these studies and improvements if I didn't have your support! So thank you again :)

ANGLEIC PALADIN - PROGRESS PHOTOS

My armor starts with a really simple mesh. Looks like a normal shirt and pants here!

This was my first trial with nice clean edges. That was about all that was going for it though haha The mesh is completely unusable for 3D printing because of how I made it. It is hollow and a topology disaster. Also, what is going on with those knee pads? haha

Here is what I ended up with! Thrilled with this and to use these techniques moving forward :) I also made brand new wings from scratch! It was time, and these are going to print incredibly. Time to get her posed!

And here she is mostly posed! Still needs a few tweaks to look balanced. To everyone that sees wings and gets nervous, I cut you a break here lol These are going to be darn near support-less :) I'm really proud of this armor so I'm making this model as print-friendly as possible~ I want to see a whole army of these angels out there!

BONUS MODEL

Here is a bit of whimsy I sculpted for fun. I'm not sure what she is. Some sort of deer human spirit? Anyway, it has been a really long time since I sculpted something for myself and this is what I came up with :) Many of you enjoyed it in the Discord so I am going to make this 3D printable and share it with this month's release~

Fun fact, I did ballet briefly as a kid. I hated it, but I can credit my good posture to it. I wanted a ballet feel to this pose and it really came out beautifully~

On a side note, when is the last time I sculpted a man? My work is all pretty girls and creatures lol

Much love!

Hahaha oh goodness that Brisela is a monster to print! Glad it worked out

M3DM

Thank you!! That is high praise <3

Wings can certainly be fun to print! I printed the Brisela for my daughter and discovered exactly _why_ you made a version with heavier wing connections, lol. Fortunately I was able to reattach it with some resin and a uv lazer so all's good in the end. :)

You always have the best wings and feathers i ve seen on any designer. Well done Mia, can't wait to see the next step :)
