December Theme VOTE!
Added 2020-12-04 22:54:59 +0000 UTCHello Patrons!!
The time has come for another theme vote~ I am feeling particularly festive this year and wanted to offer a winter theme. Of course, I always like giving you options so I'm also offering a spring theme for those they can't wait for winter to be over haha Below I have two collages and some models ideas to give you a feel for each theme. Once the theme is picked, I will have another poll where you get to vote for your favorite models I have planned. Feel free to comment already what models you hope to see for either theme!
WINTER THEME
- Snowman Mimic (How awesome would this be haha)
- Yeti
- Ice Queen
- Wolf made of ice
- PCs in heavy clothes
SPRING THEME
- Wood Elves (ranger, hunter, druid)
- Firbogls (herbalist, druid)
- Animals (stag, wolves)
- Scatter terrain (bushes, flowers)
Also don't forget the entire Aquatic collection is coming out next week!! VIEW HERE
That is 35 models in addition to whatever I make for this month's theme~ It'll be a good month ^_^ Thanks for supporting me so I can make all of these!
Best,
Mia Kay

2020-12-10 02:28:40 +0000 UTCSince Winter seems the winner at this point, I've a few thought provokers. Snowy climates are often the least inhabited. The environment is not built for cold-blooded or warm-blooded life. However, that does not mean snowy environments are lifeless. Creatures with thick skin or those that are cold resistant by nature are perfect candidates for Cold environments. With that in mind there are a few places for some inspiration. Elementals are an obvious choice especially those of the plane of snow (between the water and earth planes). Water elementals that have adapted and taken an icy visage. Earth Elementals that have adapted a snowy or glacial visage. Beasts are also a common sight in Winterscapes. These creatures could be elementally infused or simply evolved to handle the harsh environment. Bullettes, or Yaks are a good starting point (one monstrous and one tame for use by those that live there). Yetis and Winter wolves are a good go to, but what of a winter spider or a Dire winter Owl (one large enough to control the sky and withstand the cold temps at the higher altitude). You also have creatures that thrive in cold mountainous terrain such as Goats and snow leopards. Lastly there are the people and the oddities. People would be bundled heavily as they are warm blooded (usually) so heavy cloths and furs. oddities might include the undead that have died in the tundra or wisps that have wandered into the area and suck the life and heat out of those they come into contact with. Perhaps a winter Worm that lives below ground or massive sea creatures that live amongst the icebergs. Thats all I've got for now so I'll stop my rambling.
