New Potential Benefits for Patrons! *VOTE*

Hello lovelies!

Over the past few months this Patreon has grown a ton. It has been an extremely enjoyable experience to interact with all of you ^_^ As many of you long term supporters know, I'm constantly trying to improve and I love to spoil you guys.

After some discussion in the Discord I have come up with 2 new benefits for yall! Let me know what you think!!

BENEFIT ONE: One Life Cycle Miniature Set per Month

This incredible idea was proposed by @Moretea in the Discord. Here is a direct quote because they described it perfectly.

"-focusing on a creature, and then giving it models for each of its lifecycle, egg/newborn young, adult, ancient, and dead."

EXAMPLE: Owlbear
Every creature would have 4 miniatures to explore its life cycle.

-Baby/Egg

-Adult

-Ancient

-Dead/Undead

HOW THIS WOULD WORK

We'd decide on a theme and pick models like normal. Then at the end I'd ask which one you'd like to have me make into a Life Cycle set. For this month, I bet the Forest Dragon would have won haha

BENEFIT TWO: Stat Blocks

This one is very straight forward. I'd let yall choose a character or creature for a stat block.

Some monsters I make like the forest guardian are not easy to integrate into a game despite being awesome. A stat block would help with that!

EXAMPLE: Forest Guardian Stat Block

I hope you like these ideas! I love them both and they would easily integrate into my current work flow. Let me know if you have other ideas too!

Best!
Mia Kay

Aw thank you!!! I cherish this community so much <3

M3DM

Thank you for the compliment. You are a wonderful person and talent that is deserving of polite supporters.

James Weaver

"Aggressively awesome" is now my new favorite phrase hahaha

M3DM

That would be aggressively awesome.

Travis Hull

If I add the stat blocks, I was thinking of making it a competition where anyone can submit their own stat block and then the community favorite gets made official and gets a custom model from me ^_^

M3DM

I support other Patreons where they make stat blocks and I've never gotten value out of them. My thoughts on how to use a model is rarely the same as the artist's.

Travis Hull

I'm glad so many people love the life cycle idea!! <3

M3DM

I appreciate how polite you are and that would be an AWESOME life cycle model <3 Your players' reaction would be priceless lol

M3DM

The stat blocks would be nice, but the life cycle idea is incredible.

M

I am running a campaign that has a Gynosphinx at 3 points in the dungeon all at different times in its life cycle due to their ability to alter time. I am not asking for the model. I just thought it was a cool use of something like this. Put a different model down as the sphinx introduces itself by the same name. Players be like, "wha-?"

James Weaver

Hahaha I love that everyone loves undead models. Thanks for sharing your opinion ^_^ Definitely noted!

M3DM

I'm glad ^_^

M3DM

love the Life Cycle idea!!!

Rifter Kent

I'm personally indifferent towards the stat blocks mainly because my group plays Pathfinder 1e more than D&D 5th edition or anything else. The life cycle thing is a pretty fun idea. Could have a momma protecting cubs and whatnot. Plus more undead things is absolutely welcome.

Kelsey Reyer

Done lol

M3DM

My pleasure, when you take over the world, I'd like to be your Executive Senior Vice president of Ridiculous Ideas.

ThatGuyOverThere

Ohhhh that'd be awesome too! That way instead of just using a status ring in combat you could put a whole new mini out. Very cool <3

M3DM

Hahahah You're a hoot lol And thank you! I'm glad you shared your wonderful idea with me. People seriously love it!

M3DM

I think the lifecycle idea is GENIUS. The person that came up with it must be super smart, funny, and probably dead sexy. Most likely humble too. JK - I came up with it! I'm none of those things! Thanks for running with it Mia! You're a bright spot in a dark internet. Keep your creativity flowing!

ThatGuyOverThere

I think the idea of multiple model states is great...especially since it would also provide the opportunity to create a more dynamic setting that can include offspring etc. Another play on the idea of multiple states would be adding injured, prone, or condition affected models.

Ooooo that does sound awesome!! Very good point!

M3DM

I'm glad you like them!! ^_^ And yes. We all need more baby dragons~

M3DM

I love these ideas so much, need some baby dragons!

Michelle Oakes

Life cycle for sure. Monster manuals and creature stats are lining the shelf collecting dust. A well executed life cycle series would be awesome for story development. A baby owlbear fostered by a P.C. over years of adventures... or have the monsters slain only to be raised by a necromancer to be fought again and have the minis to back it up... priceless. Great work team!

Funky Spade

Excellent! Very good to know!

M3DM

That's a good point! I have a lot of backlog monsters that are no where though like the Peacock Griffin lol So I'd be able to find some odd ball for the stat block each month. Very solid point though, and I'm glad you like the life cycle idea!!

M3DM

A very solid point! DMs tend to tweak stat blocks anyhow, but it might be nice to give them a starting point ^_^

M3DM

If I have to choose then the life cycle is just cool but the stat block is maybe more useful. The campaign I run is entirely homebrew outside core 5e like classes and races. So I use a lot of unique creatures and that's certainly easier if someone else has already made a stat block.

AstroChaos

I wouldn't want you to be locked into the stat block thing, but it would be a cool once in awhile bonus. You create a lot of monsters that already have stat blocks somewhere and it might create confusion. But for things that aren't so easy to find, they'd be a cool extra treat. Love the life cycle idea though.

wordflyer

The lifecycle miniatures are definitely more unique and more exciting, to me. The owlbear concept art looks awesome. Plus you can use miniatures in any game. Stat blocks, less so.
