I don't have a problem with having things on the background, especially if it helps you to bounce off of. Beanie is the only merch that I'd actually get (barring prohibitive shipping costs) but I understand that it might be difficult to commit to by the producer.

Regarding the game going on, totally fine with me! Either passively (just for noise/motion) or actively (if it's a game you can auto-pilot while chatting), as long as you're saying what you need/want to say, doesn't bother me at all. Funny, I'm coming to this late (again) and you're talking about Grimmi, and the situation has already changed. Amazing how quickly situations develop. Even so, it's nice to hear your stories about running into her early on. I suppose now that she's _not_ graduating, you've got a chance to do a thing with her if you wanted, or even just chat more freely than if she left the VTubing sphere. I think I've said in a prior comment/thread, but I feel like you, the people you raid, and at least one jump outward are always so good about return raids and shouting each other out. I remember many many moons ago visiting another channel where it was in the rules that you were not allowed to bring up other VTubers unless the streamer did, which...I mean, on paper seems fine I guess, but it feels so much warmer the way you (and many of the folks you've raided or raid into you) always seem to be hyped about each other and your accomplishments and activities. Glad to hear Lotte has an excellent appetite and is doing well! If it's any comfort, my friend had a dachshund basically the entire time we were in school together, and he lived in a tri-level home (it's a very dumb split-level concept in some parts of the US, basically it's got a _TON_ of stairs), and his dog did fine with various ups and downs and some jumping. I think the main thing they did was try to minimize jumps greater than the body length of the dog. So like, stairs and little hops were fine. Jumping off the couch might be ok on carpeted floor or if they had a cushion/bed underneath, but otherwise they made sure there were ramps or such available. In any case, their dog was fine until she was positively ancient, and even then, she just got arthritis, so she had little doggy painkillers (I imagine these days they'd do CBD instead since it's easier on the gut). All that to say, hopefully a bit of hopping around isn't stressing you out too much. The NijisanjiEN thing is...wild. I am actually hearing from people I know in Legal/HR/PR who are starting to hear about this and ask me WTF are VTubers and then proceed to chat more about their area of expertise as it relates to the incident, and how this is absolutely bonkers. I hope all the current/former members are getting the help and support they need, and can like...move on with their lives. So far as the like...VTubers vs. Corps in general, it definitely _DEFINITELY_ feels like people are best served cultivating loyal audiences (loyal to them, not the company) and establishing good working relationships themselves (again, with themselves, not necessarily the company), so that they've got a soft landing if something happens. Doki seems to have a good stockpile of people and companies willing to work with her, because they liked doing so previously. It's impossible to always pick the right contracts/sponsorships/etc. but as long as there's a ripcord to pull if it gets shitty and you've (the non-specific you, but also you Clio) got your own audience and connections, almost anything can be recovered from in time. Can't say I know where any strange comments are coming from. I'm present in most places on the internet, but I don't seek out drama, and typically spend most of the spoons I have for confrontational interactions trying to set the record straight places. That said, if you do find a wellspring of negativity there, and could use a hand trying to put a lid on it, happy to do whatever I can in that regard. You can't necessarily stop all the trolls on the internet, but you can sometimes ward them off a bit. Related to OBS, there's a global.ini file where your preferences are stored, but it keeps the window position/geometry as a string...so I'm not sure yet how to make that do what you want. I'll look into it some and if I find interesting results I'll report back. Regarding obligations, I can very much only speak for myself, but I feel like there's a lot more forgiveness for put-off things when there's been a constant stream of content (which there has been) versus people going dark for months at a time _and_ pushing things back. Clearly, a lot of folks would love to hear the lecture and see/hear/do some of the other fun stuff you have planned, but it's not like you've been sitting around doing nothing. Same as when you updated us previously on the model/rigging stuff and what-not. If you are keeping folks in the loop that's...I think pretty good right there. Maybe I'm just getting old enough that I assume one always has to wait for things, but like I said, I think it's not doom, and I hope you're not losing sleep over it. I...do not need a boob (or butt, or whatever else) mousepad. If you someday did a desk mat (the super huge mousepad-like thing) with like, the scene of you and the lion in your lap, or some such, that could be cool, but as with the beanie, it feels like you probably want to get a solid amount of buy in before doing anything that requires that kind of work. In general, at least to me, you're in the category of streamers whose merch I am happy to show-off (either wearing or having around), as opposed to the super thirsty merch which is...eh, I mean, it's fine. I'm sure some people are super into it, I just am not sure that's the majority of the crowd you attract? Though obviously some of the most vocal probably have their particular interests (no negativity or kinkshaming intended). Back to talking about the game, I'm glad if you've had a bit of free time to play things for yourself and not just for us. I hope you have time to do things with Lotte and other folks outside of streaming. Even if it's with other online folks, just...not having an audience can be good. Time that you can be you without needing to worry about any of us, not that I don't appreciate how much you seem to concern yourself with us, but it's nice if you have some time for you too. I appreciate the update, I dunno if I'd say I'm doing well, but I'm hanging in there and taking the wins and good days where I can get them. Appreciate you asking all the time. So far as suggestions go, if I come up with anything brilliant, will be sure to speak up. Honestly, it's been nice to hear from you in a slightly more organized way (as opposed to the streams, which can kind of go all over the place given the number of folks in chat XD). And yes, pictures of Lotte always appreciated. >:] Cheers Clio, be well and thanks for the update!
