I definitely think they’re about to enlist. When the concert announcement came out, I felt like it was their goodbye for now.

2021-10-15 19:14:54 +0000 UTCDon’t come at me because I’m a huge BTS fan but HYBE has been irritating this past year. I honestly think HYBE is to blame for this one. It’s clearly a calculated move. They tell previous ticket holders sorry, you’ll get your money back. HYBE loses no money because I’m sure they were super insured for that tour, which will be cover by pre-pandemic cancellation clauses. Then they come up with the 4 concerts in LA. HYBE is a business, so they know that resellers will snatch up the tickets. This will only drive up the demand for more concerts, particularly in the US, where there are fewer COVID restrictions. Oh and for those who missed out there will probably be a chance to spend $50+ to watch the concert they’ve filmed via Weverse or purchase a DVD. I’m waiting for that announcement. As Araceli mentioned above, they’re holding it over the THE BIGGEST TRAVEL WEEK OF THE YEAR in the US. I’m not sure they even planned this for average ARMY to reasonably be able to see. Even if you live within the lower 48, you have to be willing to shell out at least $3-4k for this concert. With the various shortages on travel - cars and planes - it’s only going to get worse. These are my guesses but I find it extremely disappointing. I hoped for better from them.

I think for big cities in the US, L.A. has one of the lowest cases of Covid per Capita and we still have mask mandates in place, where a lot of other cities do not. To go to So Fi you need to show proof of vaccination or Negative Covid test taken within 72 hrs. Anyway I figured BTS was going to be working in LA so it probably made sense to have concerts in LA. Its just weird timing because that is the weekend of American Thanksgiving which is the biggest travel holiday in our country. Which is why transportation and hotel is going to be expensive during that time. I got tickets to the show though. Even though I had a lot of stress, my experience was also easy. I had ARMY member pre-sale code. I waiting in queue for 1 hour, got in around 4pm. 4 together on 12/01. I wanted 11/27 or 12/2 like everyone else, but 12/01 Date opened up first and I just took the first set of 4 tickets I could get.

2021-10-14 18:35:04 +0000 UTCTicketmaster has always been shady. My friend tried to buy tickets as a MOTS ticket holder and the experience was pretty horrible. I signed up for ARMY presale and made sure I had a super fast connection and got in fairly uneventfully (if thats even a word). You have to cross your T's and dot your I's big time. Having a fast connection is 70% of the problem in my experience.

The 60 dollar cheap seats on ticket master won’t let you post them for sale for anything less than 400$. This isn’t stubhub, it’s Ticketmaster.com! Ticket master takes a percentage of each sale so they get a bigger cut if they say the market value of the cheap seats are $400 plus a seat. actually this is all about Ticketmaster making money for themselves as the artist and venue don’t see any bit of this resale money.

2021-10-13 22:27:54 +0000 UTCAre we addressing the purpose of these LA concerts in conjunction with the Run BTS "pause" episodes (154+155) and the crazy amounts of money invested into season 2 of In the SOOP that happened while season 1 was being filmed? Jin spoke about how BTS & Big Hit plan at least a year in advance for their schedule. No one could plan COVID, but planning with COVID in mind, SUGA's shoulder being 70%+ healthy, and Jin and SUGA's birthday's coming up, are BTS planning to enter their service? And during their service, Big Hit/HYBE could drop content (including music) to keep ARMY happy until their return. This is not unheard of - other idols are doing this right now. Financially, HYBE's business plan is moving forward, their other idol groups are on solid footing (ENHYPEN just dropped another full album on Tuesday with 1M+ pre-orders - they are already on Billboard 200; TXT did the same with their album earlier this year). The KPOP industry in general is thriving; diversification beyond BTS could be a good thing while they are in the service. ARMY will always keep them in mind and do good works in their name.

2021-10-13 20:44:58 +0000 UTCI received a ticket code as a MOTS VIP purchaser and I ended up with some of the worst seats. It was beyond infuriating to watch a better selection become available later after I held on to my tickets for 2 years.

My son and I both logged in, opened all 4 show and bought the first show available which was Saturday. There were great seats available. Then we waited a couple of minutes and bought Sunday tickets too. I feel bad for those that had trouble.

Before they completed the pre-sale for previous ticket holders from the mots tour, they opened up the sales to SoFi season ticket holders (American Football fans). That's how the scalpers got it. The problem is that a good number of the tickets that are available for resale aren't transferable. So there will be people who buy the resell tickets but can't get in to the concert.
