Wow David’s family sounds....intense. It’s so sad that your life can be so controlled by your elders. You only get one life and it’s yours alone - no one else’s. But I am speaking from a place of privilege I guess where the society I live in is very tolerant and people marry others from different races, nationalities etc all the time.

I've spent around 3 years working on my Master's Thesis, as much as I hated myself during that time, the feeling I got after my last defense was wooorth itt soo.. FIGHTING you can do it!!!♥️♥️ and Danny congraats on the engagement ♥️♥️

Hi David, I am also writing my Master's Thesis and feel quite stuck (still on the theoretical background research phase). What I constantly hear as support is that: go for walks when motivation is not kicking; remind yourself why you chose the topic you did, which is often something we're passionate about (mine is about music and foreign languages combined in primary schools as tools for developing students' cultural awareness and multilingualism); set a regular work schedule with achivable goals; drink lots of water; even if it is only one sentence a day, get some words out on the paper every day. It will be soon done and and then, we will be able to move on from Uni life and get this burden out of our shoulders. I try to remind myself this, sometimes it sinks in better than other's but just wanted to tell you that you're not alone <3
