Days has passed and GOT7 did not officially disband, they are more on an hiatus more than ever. Mark has returned back to L.A. dropped music, Jackson has been dropping music, he definitely trying to make as much money to probably have artist at his company. Jinyoung acting, Youngjae most likely got something coming in soon. It’s a lot happening, but if the leader himself says that they did not disband, then they did not disband and most likely the reason why the fans are upset and wants Danny’s balls on the line for it lol

Also, why is he making creative decisions in the first place? (I mean.... yes. I know WHY.) But his last two music videos that he’s dropped have been super cringe, IMO. They need a CCO who’s more in touch with their core demographic.

I really liked what you guys were saying earlier about introducing us to unique and interesting/ "strange" things or customs in Korea, (like the statues, or "jin-do"). 2021-01-12 06:18:39 +0000 UTCPersonally (my thoughts guys!!!) Got7 was another threat to exo. So maybe smthing shady was done because we all know the lengths SM can go to protect their pockets. Maybe division was labor was done btn jyp and SM. Second, maybe jype was just stupid to see the power of got7. I am actually from east africa and the first k pop song i heard was by got7 ( the one they were singing for a little girl) but since i did not understand i did not take into consideratin but that was back in 2015. So the fact they had reached that far in reserved televisions and jyp did not notice or ignored shows me how that company is soon going to fail. They do the same thing with day6. I dont know what wrong with jyp but i wish they put the same effort they put with girl groups but anyway its not our money.

It's a bit unfair. I feel like if this award was mostly targeted towards Kpop and they wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt then they shouldn't include other groups. On another note, I know that the F*boi video got deleted but I was wondering if you could do an update on your discussion about what you were talking about-jin do?

And Danny, we’re just waiting for the Man Bun to make an appearance… ;) GOT7 – It’s nice they are taking a break and doing their own things. Breathe, fellas. They can’t do concerts/release music anyway until they get their trademark name back. Plus: COVID. No concerts anytime soon. I’m sure they are all committed to each other and have the best intentions to do more music in the future – BUT: (1) once they actually experience their freedom and (2) as soon as someone wants to settle down/get married/has kids… they are going to find fulfilling those promises MUCH more difficult. AI – Honestly… a new way to promote smut. Same story, different medium. Just saying. ITZY – Obviously rigged. Since they are under JYP – maybe he cut a deal with GDA to try to deflect from GOT7 leaving? Create some “good news”? (Although you have to be pretty stupid to think the public won’t figure it out.)

I felt discouraged when you guys said it’s a definite disbandment, since the guys said that got7 is not over, and “just the beginning” but Idk if they just said it to make us feel better. Though it feels like it’s gonna be very difficult in the future to coordinate the schedule of 7 different artists. And who/what company will manage the group schedule when all 7 will split into different companies? 😩😩😩

I find that mostly the projecting of idols being gay or LGBT come from a desire to see representation of your own marginalized identity in someone you admire. I had a whole group of students convinced that I was a lesbian for purely refusing to share details about my dating life. The reason wasn’t because I was a member of the queer community, but because I like to keep my work and personal life separate. All of those students convinced that I was a lesbian just so happened to be the bi/lesbian female students in the grade level. They were eager for the representation in the authority figures around them. I saw it as a compliment and let them think whatever they wanted.

The basic rule than a stylist has is to bring Clothes that fits. not that the other bh groups are in a lot better fate but still. Is it a marketing trick maybe?

But the fact that JYP couldn't resignn none of the members shows a lot. in general we are watching the star of "fall'' for the third gen. I think jyp will also have problems resign all twice members.Groups like mamamoo,ikon and red velvet probably will have more solo activities, i can't predict about blackpink because its YG but I guess 2 solos( that they announced and a group comeback) and exo still has enlisments and of course bts will also start to enlist probably in 2 phases in a spam of 4 years. also it was clever from BH to renew the contracts 2 years prior because it wouldn't be that easy now.

I've read a few comments saying he won't do well as a solo artist in Korea because he's Vietnamese. That his only hope of making it in Korea is joining a group that contains Koreans. What do you think?

Is one thing to use the names but these stories do so far beyond that and are based on the 'actual characters' of the members. I think it is a form of stalking to be honest

We don't know these people personally and know nothing about sexual orientation or friendships. I would imagine that when people write fanfics about them with their friends it would be really uncomfortable for both parties. I mean I would be. These people aren't fictional characters and have real feelings and relationships that should be respected.

If anything it's just a reflection of collective societal beliefs and morals about women, their "role" in society, etc.—which can be fucked up, clearly. I agree with David though, the company has a responsibility to set parameters with the chat bot.

2021-01-11 12:02:40 +0000 UTCI can recall an incident on Christmas eve in 2016. JYP was having a Christmas party with many people invited including Jackson. JYP pointed out in an interview that he had noticed how lonely Jackson was, being young and away from his family, especially around the holidays. So he arranged to fly in Jackson's mother and father. That night while everyone was opening presents the doorbell rang and his mom and dad came in. Jackson immediately ran to them and jumped into their arms crying and of course everyone else was crying too. I can't recall who was shooting the video but I couldn't help but think how considerate JYP was to do that for one of his boys. But I suppose, over the years, the pressures of being a CEO weighed heavily on him adding to his callous nature and the falling out between Got7 and JYP. It's sad it turned out that way but the boys have to think about their own physical and mental well being. I'm happy they are able to move on and hope they remain friends. I would like to see some type of reunion performance of all 7 members if possible. I'll be looking to see how they do individually.

2021-01-11 08:14:06 +0000 UTCGot7 disbanding is something I'm sad about but saw coming. I think most Ahgase are also glad they are leaving JYP since it was so obvious that they were under supported. It's just sad that for the foreseeable future we won't be seeing them together
