I also think he caused hurt with not blurring students faces as they are minors. I’m glad to see he apologized specifically for this and not for calling the issue out. I think this is an appropriate way to handle the criticism he faced. He did not intend to hurt the students specifically, but he did. He needs to own it, which he did.

It's also important to remember that impact is sometimes more important than "intent". So regardless of whether or they meant harm or not they caused it. Also how do we gauge whether they had ill intent or not? Kudos too Sam for the having the audacity to speak up knowing that his words would likely not be received well. PS: Been learning Korean for a year things like this sometimes but me off my studies but feel better when I watch you guys!

Hey guys, enjoy your content keep up the good work. Regarding Sam's issues it's a sad irony that a black person calling out and condemning blackface is bearing the brunt of criticism. He called out racism towards his people and yet he is to blame. The message he posted sounds tempered and fair - of course I'm not a native Korean speaker but his post didn't sound abrasive at all. I hope Sam has people who support him and his corner because the backlash is really shocking.

...i hope that after this whole mess, the korean gp will be more sensitive to race-involved content EVEN IF they do not have to engage in race dialogues in their own country.

Damn, I seriously didn't watch BLACKFACE AND RED DRESS TRIGGERS until after the after! My comments may have seemed like I did. The funeral, the kid who pulled her eyes back. This happens a lot I noticed. I think Danny is the Korean guy version of me!
