Good day, Supporters!
Ye Fan here. First of all, I sincerely apologize for keeping you all waiting—again.
This month has been a real struggle for me. The reason? Well, just take a look at the image here...
Yes, it’s a face—just a face. No mouth, no eyeballs, no eyebrows, no hair—nothing.
I spent 19 days working on this 3D soft-surface model in Blender. I expected that transitioning from hard-surface to soft-surface 3D modelling wouldn’t be easy, but I’m still shocked at how much time and effort went into it with so little to show for it.
I hope I can do better next month.
Due to the time I spent on Blender, I was only able to complete one page of the "US Kancolle Fanart Project" this month. Our schedule is tight, so I’ll be working hard to catch up.
Some good news, I want to express my gratitude to all of you. At the end of February, I tested out some new IOWA artwork, and based on both backend data analysis and your comments on social media, it looks like you all enjoyed it! Thank you so much for your encouragement and support. I’ll continue this series so you can enjoy more content every month.
That’s all for this month. The rest it’s just a matter of catching up and getting the artwork into your hands. I’m sorry I couldn’t bring more to the table this time, March is almost here, I’ll see you all again soon with more stuff!
