Final Part: Newfound Happiness

It has been four years since the day Tracy and Hallie’s lives turned to a new chapter. Tracy is now a senior student, president of the student council, the beauty of the entire university, renowned for her beauty and her professional-level talent in painting. Normally, the programs at the university last only four years, but Tracy chose the five-year track to obtain a professional certificate, just like her lover, though much later she would learn that he had done so only to stay close to her for one more year.

On a cool autumn afternoon, Tracy stood in the student council office, preparing for the freshman welcoming ceremony, where she would deliver a speech as the representative of all the students in the university. In front of the mirror, she wore the female student uniform of the university. The shirt clung tightly to her breasts, which had grown considerably fuller over the past three years. Now, she no longer envied her mother’s alluring chest, for she had inherited it perfectly. Her slender waist was shaped by the corset worn underneath. The corset was merely an accessory she had started wearing later on. She grew more and more fond of the feeling of wearing clothes and accessories designed exclusively for women. The pleated skirt reached her knees, her slender, enticing legs sheathed in black tights.

Beneath her uniform, she wore exquisite turquoise lace lingerie. The push-up bra had thin straps that draped over her shoulders, and the floral lace hugged her cleavage, gently brushing against her nipples as she breathed, making her shiver with pleasure. The turquoise silk panties with lace trim slid down her hips, delicately hugging her private parts.

In terms of memory synchronization, she had reached one hundred percent from the very moment she shyly accepted everything Tamir, her lover, had given to her, inside her. Now, she remembered every detail of this girl’s former life, yet that did not make her lose herself. Long ago, she had ceased to think of herself as Bastian; those eighteen years felt like a past life. Now, she cherished this body, cherished every fold of fabric, every layer of lace, cherished the femininity she had fully made her own.

The ceremony took place in the grand hall, dazzling lights shining down on the stage. Tracy stepped forward, her pleated skirt fluttering, her simple student shoes doing nothing to diminish the charm of the most renowned upperclassman in the university, while thunderous applause rose from hundreds of freshmen. She stood before the microphone and spoke in a clear voice, “Hello, everyone, I am Tracy, representing the senior class. I wish you all an unforgettable university life!” When she finished, she smiled. Her smile left the entire hall entranced. Among them was a freshman girl Tracy could never have imagined encountering.

After the speech, Tracy stepped down from the stage, and a petite girl among the freshmen came forward, her eyes shining brightly. “Hello, my senior! My name is Annie, I’ve admired you for such a long time!” Tracy froze, looking closely, she realized it was Annie, Bastian’s younger sister, now a freshman. Yet surely Annie could not recognize her brother from the past, and simply admired someone as beautiful and accomplished as Tracy.

In the past, Bastian had always been close to and affectionate with his younger sister. Even during the difficult years living beside Turner, when he sometimes felt a flicker of envy because their mother had taken Annie with her, that feeling had long since faded away. Thus, upon seeing Annie again, even in the form of another person, Tracy was filled with joy. She smiled radiantly and embraced Annie, despite the astonishment on her former sister’s face. “Thank you, Annie! I’m glad you like me and chose to study at this university. You’re adorable too, surely the title of future beauty queen will belong to you!”

Though she understood nothing, Annie was of course delighted that the admired upperclassman treated her with such warmth. She asked, “I want to be like you too! Beautiful, talented, confident! Do you have a secret?” Tracy blushed and stroked Annie's hair. She had never been like this before, only after embracing her new way of life had she changed completely. But… in a sense, that too was an experience she could pass on to her beloved younger sister.

“Just be true to yourself, and you’ll be like me,” she said, her voice warm. “I never even dared to dream I could be like this one day. My past was once like hell, you know. But now, I’m savoring every single day of what it means to be a girl.” She cherished this moment, being admired by Annie, the girl she had once envied, standing here in the feminine body she adored to madness. Annie didn’t quite understand phrases like “you know” or “what it means to be a girl,” but overall, she grasped the meaning of the advice. She bowed her head to thank Tracy, then skipped away happily, her excitement plain to see.

When she returned to the student council office, a figure leapt out and embraced Tracy tightly. Of course, she knew who it was, yet she playfully teased, “Hey, you know I could have you arrested for breaking in here when you’re not even a student of this university.” The figure whispered in her ear, “Then go ahead and imprison me by your side for a lifetime!”

Tracy burst into laughter and leaned against Tamir, the feeling of being a sweet girl resting in her man’s arms filling her with utter joy. “You’ll be sentenced to life the moment I graduate, so enjoy your last days of freedom while you can!” she replied. The two of them then shared a deep kiss.

At that very moment, Hallie and Niall were at the supermarket, preparing for a romantic dinner at home. Niall thought to himself that for the past four years or so, every dinner at home seemed to turn into a romantic one. Hallie had clung to him with unbroken devotion ever since that moment. He found it strange, but he did not dislike the feeling. After all, what greater happiness could a man have than to be loved so madly by another man, well, no... by his wife?

Hallie wore a fiery red dress, her favorite color since becoming a woman, hugging her full breasts and slender waist, the short skirt revealing her fair thighs. Beneath it, she wore a lacy black set, exuding allure. Red high heels carried her gracefully beside Niall, her arm linked with his.

While choosing groceries, Hallie suddenly caught sight of Naya, Turner’s ex-wife, pushing a cart beside a middle-aged man in a worker’s shirt, his appearance plain and ordinary. Yet she seemed truly happy by his side. Hallie paused, gazing at them for a moment. It seems she has found a new man, Hallie thought. Then she smiled and reflected, It’s good that he can bring her happiness, far more than a wretch like me ever could.

If one were to ask Hallie whether she felt jealous seeing her former wife hand in hand with another man, she would answer at once that she did not, she was simply glad for her. For now, Hallie was the happiest woman alive. Niall was her one and only love. With that thought, she squeezed Niall’s hand tighter and rested her head on his shoulder as they walked. Niall did not know why Hallie suddenly did so, but he only smiled and gently stroked his wife’s head. The two happy couples passed each other in the supermarket without recognition, closing a bond that had once been beautiful but had since gone astray. Fortunately, at the end of the road, both had found happiness in the arms of another man.

That evening, Tracy and Hallie once again sat together at home, sharing quiet conversation. The intimate bond between mother and daughter was something even Niall, the husband, could not intrude upon. Each held a glass of juice in place of wine; they clinked their glasses and smiled at one another.

Tracy spoke first, telling her story, “Mom, do you know? Annie is a freshman at my university this year. I never imagined she would admire me. In the past, it was only I who envied her.”

Hallie also shared her story from the supermarket, “Today I happened to see Naya there!”

Tracy was surprised, “Oh, what a coincidence! But… don’t you feel regret? After all, she was once your wife, and Annie is also your daughter, just like me.” Of course, Tracy had long seen herself as a girl; the days of Bastian were far behind her.

Hallie spoke gently, “I have no regrets, what’s past is past, and we should let it go. That crude, aging, worthless Turner, I’ve long since forgotten him! Now I am a beautiful woman, with a husband who loves me, and one daughter only, it's you. You and I have chosen rightly, the present and the future are all that truly matter.”

Tracy nodded and embraced her mother. “I agree with you. Bastian is nothing but a distant past, a foolish boy who never understood the allure of lace lingerie or pretty dresses.” She smiled, her eyes shining brightly. They clinked their glasses in celebration, the chime of crystal ringing out in the warm air.

Just then, Niall entered, wrapping an arm around Hallie’s waist through the tight dress, whispering, “You are the most beautiful tonight, Hallie.” Their future son-in-law, Tamir, also arrived, embracing Tracy from behind and kissing her hair. “My beauty queen.” Mother and daughter looked at each other, smiling radiantly, their love for the present moment growing even deeper. They had found complete happiness, in the folds of dresses, the layers of lace and silk, and in the love their new bodies had brought. A newfound happiness…
